  7. The NTDS/AT interfaces provides a full duplex NTDS parallel data path which
  8. can be configured to operate as a Peripheral, Computer, Intercomputer, or
  9. Interperipheral channel.  To provide the highest level of reliability, the GET
  10. 10073501 interface adaptor consists of a single circuit card which is designed
  11. to reside in only one 16-bit AT Bus expansion slot.  The NTDS/AT operates at
  12. full NTDS data transfer rates by using a combination of DMA and interrupt
  13. driven transfers.  When operating as an NTDS Computer the NTDS/AT transmits
  14. output data and external functions (buffered or forced).  Input data and
  15. external interrupts (with or without EIE) are received.  When operating in the
  16. peripheral mode the NTDS/AT transmits input data and external Interrupts (with
  17. or without EIE).  Output data and external functions are received, with a
  18. special input FIFO allowing the reception of multiple forced external
  19. functions without loss.
